Import Haulage Routes from a Surpac String File
- In the Setup Schedule > Material Flow > Haulage tab, select the Geometry tab.
- At the top of the Geometry data grid, click Insert.
- Select the file that contains the haulage geometry that you want to import.
- Click Open.
- In the Import content box, select Geometry and haulage routes.
- In the Route name prefix field, type the name you want to use as the prefix for all routes imported from the string file.
- In the Ramp string range field, type the string range for the strings that define the geometry of the ramps.
- In the Bench string range field, type the string range for the strings that define the geometry of the benches.
- In the Full velocity D-field field, select the description field of the string file that contains the values for the full velocity of the trucks.
- In the Empty velocity D-field field, select the description field of the string file that contains the values for the empty velocity of the trucks.
- Click OK.
The Select Geometry Source form appears.
The Import Geometry form appears.
The geometry file is imported and the segments of the file are listed in the Geometry data grid, the haulage routes are created by combining the ramp and bench strings, and a haulage route is listed in the Haulage routes data grid for each ramp string.
Note: The collections to which the segments of the haulage routes belong are determined by the name of the string file from which they were imported, the number of the string, and whether the string was identified as a ramp or bench string in the Haulage routes section of the Import Geometry form.
